Our Story

Over a Century in the Making

A mint industry legacy

A Mint Industry Legacy

At the turn of the twentieth century, southwest Idaho's fields ran with peppermint. Built in 1910, our barn served as a working mint still — distilling peppermint oil shipped across the country to flavor toothpastes, candies, and confections that became household names.

The barrels that once carried that oil gave the property its name.

Restoration · 2018

A Family's Careful Hand

The Fulfer family acquired the property in 2006 with a quiet hope of preserving what remained of its history. In 2018, a true restoration began — original timbers were salvaged, weathered character protected, and modern comforts woven in with care.

The result is a place that feels at once ancestral and entirely new.
